How to Apply |

Semester System |
|
| |
Halifax College follows the semester system. The semesters start in January, May and September respectively each year. |

Course Assessment |

For each module a student takes, assessment methods may involve : |

- Writing assignments/projects/dissertations |
|
| |
- Timed, written examinations and class tests
|

The Application Process |

Send completed application form to the College |
| |
Please download an application form from the website or contact Halifax College via e mail or phone and an appllication pack will be posted. The student should fill the application form and send it either directly to the College or submit it to the authorised local representative along with the following: |

- |
Notarised copies of all the qualifications held starting from O Levels/Matriculation Examination result sheet, Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. |
- |
Letters from past and present employers (If applicable) |
- |
A copy of the CV. It is optional but will help us to evaluate the application |
- |
IELTS or TOEFL scores to satisfy English Language requirement. |
- |
A notarised copy of the passport. |

Receive Acceptance Documentation |
| |
Upon receipt of the application form and the accompanying documents,
the academic committee will review the applicant’s status and the successful
candidates will be sent the offer letter. As part of the review process, the
documents are evaluated against UK NARIC standards, along with fraud checks
being carried out on selected applications.

Payment of Tuition Fees |
| |
Upon receipt of acceptance documentation, the student should make
arrangements to pay the tuition fees in full to Halifax College. If the fees are
paid from overseas, the Banker’s Draft should be made payable to Halifax
College, which could be sent via courier or registered post. Students can also
make payments through bank transfer to the Halifax College bank account.

Receive Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) Document |
| |
After the tuition fees are paid, Halifax College will issue Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) Document which will be required to lodge a
Student Visa (Tier 4) application.
|

Obtaining a Student Visa (if required) |
| |
AApplicants from some countries are required to obtain a Visa from their local British Embassy or High Commission prior to travelling to Britain. In order to
make a Tier 4 Visa Application, the following documents are required:

Additional documents may also be required by the UK Border Agency
